I have become a shadow of a woman,
Hollowed out and barely seen,
A skeleton of my former self,
Lost in the darkness, so serene.
I once dreamed of soaring high,
But now I am just a faint outline,
A whisper of who I use to be,
A ghost of the girl I left behind.
But in this darkness, I find strength,
For shadows hide secrets untold,
And in the stillness, I am reborn,
A warrior with a heart of gold.
So I embrace this new life,
And let the light shine through this strife,
For in the shadows, I am free,
To become the woman I was meant to be.
